The Oliver is an intimate event venue located in the beautiful small town of Orting, Washington.

What is an intimate event venue you may ask? It’s a venue that holds events with 24 people or less depending on type of event.

What sort of events happen here? Everything from bridal and baby showers to micro weddings and classes where those with a small business come in to teach others their craft.

We even act as a photography studio in the winter months when the rain just won’t seem to stop.

The Oliver

The Oliver, named after my husbands and my first dog who recently passed. We had him from the start of our relationship and was with us for 10 years. The Oliver is an Intimate Event Venue and Photography Studio located in Orting, WA.

There are two built-in window benches with a wood slat wall background, gorgeous furniture, a 7' tall vintage gold mirror, and all the basics from tables to chairs to host any event you’d like.

Our windows face South West and have a 5 foot overhang outside the windows. We do have dimmable lighting as well as 5500 K bulbs to be as close to daylight as possible.

Rules:

- No Smoking, glitter, paint, body oil nudity, pets unless previously discussed

- Battery only candles allowed

- Can move things around but please move back to how it was originally staged prior to end of booked time

- Minimum booking time is 1 hour

Information/Rates for Renting The Oliver

Amenities:

- Tables, white padded chairs, entry table and cream love seat included

- Small amount of decor from decor closet to borrow for your event

- Shared bathrooms, kitchen, parking lot with business next door but they don't work weekends

- Dimmable lighting

- Custom letter board sign for your event

- Guidance from a wedding/event planner through the planning of your event

- Banquet permit provided when you choose to have alcohol at your event

- No restrictions on catering, you can bring your own food or I can suggest some local catering options

 

Intimate Event Venue - DIY Decor Package

Includes:

- Everything in the amenities list above

This package is DIY set up and tear down

$150 an hour up to 24 people

1 hour included for set up and 1/2 included for clean up

 

Intimate Event Venue - Decor Package

Includes:

- Everything in the amenities list above

- Linens and table settings (plates, glassware, silverware, napkins)

$250 an hour for up to 24 people minimum 2 hours is needed to book

1 1/2 hours included for you to set up and 1/2 hour included for clean up - Must put all table settings in dish washer and take out trash at the end of event

 

Intimate Wedding and Simple Reception - $500

- Up to 24 people

- Use of space for 2 hours

- Set up ahead of time for you

- Package includes 1 hour planning meeting prior to wedding day, help with timeline creation, and a venue coordinator on site day of to help with music during the ceremony and switching of space from ceremony to reception.

- Vendor recommendations provided

Intimate Wedding and Reception - $1,500

- Up To 24 people

- Use of space for up to 8 hours

- Ceremony set up with 24 white chairs,

- Between ceremony and reception guests would head outside around venue to take photos for 1 hour while I flip the space for reception

- (3) 6’-0” tables, chairs, table setting set up using decor inventory

- Package includes 1 hour planning meeting prior to wedding day, help with timeline creation, set up of pre-determined items around the room ahead of time, and a venue coordinator on site day of to help with with music during the ceremony and switching of space from ceremony to reception.

Photography Studio Or Renting for teaching a Class - Starting at $60 an hour. We can discuss specific set up needs.
